Bentonville Grapplers Take Three Of Five

BENTONVILLE - The Benton ville wrestling team went 3-1-1 at Saturday's dual tournament at Marshfield, Mo. The Tigers beat Buffalo, Mo. (46-27), Marshfield (57-24) and Osage, Mo. (47-30). Benton ville tied Springfield (Mo.) Central and lost 45-30 to Reed Springs, Mo. "It was a great tournament and a chance to see kids that we do not normally get to see, Tigers coach Bill Desler said. Desler said Jordan Visser, Sean Johnson, Devin Asbill, Josh Herren all had great performances Saturday. The Tigers will compete at the 7A-West Conference Tournament - where the finished second last year - starting Friday at Rogers Heritage . The state tournament is a week later in Little Rock.
